Rabbi Mendy and Brocha Lent together with their daughters Chana and Sara, moved to Nottingham in September 2008 to establish a branch of Chabad on Campus servicing the students of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent Universities

Mendy was born and raised in Manchester, UK and studied in the UK, USA and Australia. He spent much of his free time organising and at assisting at camps, student campus events, and visiting outlying Jewish communities reaching out to remote Jews. He hopes to involve students with their Jewish heritage with an exciting and passionate approach to Judaism.

Brocha (nee Lewis) was born in Brooklyn, NY and has special feelings for Nottingham as her father was born here. She has tremendous experience in event organisation and was previously employed as Events Co-ordinator for Chabad of South Broward, Florida. She brings along her great culinary expertise, much to the delight of students...
